AI Team Lead

We are partnering with an exceptional startup in Tel Aviv (Hamalacha area) currently in a rapid growth phase (around 30 people, gearing up for Round A). They are building a cutting-edge security platform designed specifically to protect the next generation of technology: AI systems and autonomous Agents.

Here, machine learning isn't just an adjacent feature -it is the beating heart of the product.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on AI Team Lead who excels at leading people and delivery, while staying deeply involved in architecture, code, and production.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Mentor: Directly manage a talented ML team, taking ownership of delivery, execution, and the team's technical roadmap.
• Bridge Research & Engineering: Turn advanced research concepts and models into robust, scalable, and stable product capabilities in production.
• Stay Hands-on: Lead architecture, write clean Python code, and work directly with LLM pipelines and backend systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Leadership Experience: At least 2+ years of experience leading ML or Data Science teams.
• Production-Grade ML: A strong background in Production ML, Backend systems, and MLOps (you must love staying hands-on).
• Tech Stack: Expert-level Python skills and experience with complex system architecture.
• Significant Advantages: Hands-on experience with LLMs / GenAI, or a background in Cybersecurity.
