Laboratory Technician

A leading engineering company in the energy sector is developing advanced systems for geothermal energy. The company focuses on designing and building complex mechanical systems that operate in extreme environments, combining hands-on development, prototyping, and full system ownership from concept to field deployment.

We are looking for a hands-on Laboratory Technician to lead experimental setups, system integration, and end-to-end testing processes. The role combines technical execution, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with engineering teams and international laboratories, in Israel and U.S.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and integrate experimental systems, including mechanical assemblies, wiring, components installation, and operational setup.
• Prepare test systems to a Ready-to-Test state through functional checks and validation.
• Execute experiments according to procedures and work plans, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
• Lead testing activities end-to-end, including planning, troubleshooting, reporting, and documentation.
• Identify deviations, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed experiment records, system configurations, test results, and reports.
• Work with laboratory equipment, tools, and fluid systems including piping, connections, and pressure testing.
• Coordinate testing activities with engineering teams and external laboratories in Israel and abroad.
  
  

• Practical Engineer / Senior Technician certification with experience in laboratory work, testing systems, or engineering integration.
• Strong hands-on mechanical skills, including assemblies, adjustments, and technical equipment operation.
• Experience with piping and fluid systems (low/high pressure) – a must.
• Ability to work independently, manage tasks end-to-end, and follow structured procedures.
• Strong organization, documentation, troubleshooting, and attention to detail skills.
• Good technical English and fluent Hebrew.
• Willingness to travel periodically to the company's testing site in the U.S.
  
  

• Experience in mechanical QA, acceptance testing, inspections, and non-conformity management.
• Experience writing test protocols, technical reports, and conducting RCA processes.
