Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer | Northern Israel | Defense Organization

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for an experienced Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading defense organization in Northern Israel.

This role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and upgrading complex enterprise network infrastructures. You will work with advanced networking technologies, security platforms, and enterprise communication solutions while delivering infrastructure projects that support critical organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and upgrade complex enterprise network environments

Plan, implement, and operate Check Point infrastructure, including Firewall, VPN, and IPS solutions

Design, install, and support Cisco and Juniper networking equipment

Plan and implement network and infrastructure solutions based on organizational and development requirements

Requirements

CCNP certification

At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer

Proven experience working with complex Layer 3 enterprise networks

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, MPLS, GLBP, HSRP, and VRF

Experience with IP Telephony systems is an advantage
