Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for an experienced System Administrator to join a leading defense organization in Central Israel.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a core IT infrastructure team, leading projects in diverse environments while working closely with customers, engineers, and managers. The role includes end-to-end responsibility for IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, security solutions, and advanced virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support IT infrastructure solutions for enterprise projects

Deploy, upgrade, and implement new systems and technologies based on project requirements

Manage and operate information security systems

Monitor, maintain, upgrade, and support local and remote system environments

Build, implement, and manage isolated, physical, and virtual environments based on VMware and Microsoft technologies

Provide technical support and infrastructure solutions aligned with customer requirements

Requirements

At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience as an IT/System Administrator

Strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, DHCP, GPO, and DNS

Experience with Windows Server and Windows operating systems

Hands-on experience supporting end-user devices, including laptops, workstations, tablets, and endpoint devices

Experience writing scripts using PowerShell and Bash

Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting VMware vSphere 7 or later environments

Experience working with Hyper-V virtualization

Willingness to travel abroad
