Autonomous Systems Algorithm Engineer

We are looking for a Simulation & Algorithms Engineer to join our multidisciplinary R&D team in Haifa. In this role, you will develop advanced algorithms for dynamic systems, modeling, estimation, and control applications. You will design and maintain simulation environments, analyze system performance, support integration activities, and participate in validation and testing. The position involves close collaboration with software, systems, mechanical, and algorithm engineers to develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. – an advantage
• 3+ years of experience developing algorithms in Control Systems, Dynamic Modeling, Estimation, Signal Processing, or related fields
• Experience designing and executing dynamic simulations and analyzing system performance
• Strong proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with C++ or Python – an advantage
• Experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision – an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary R&D environment
