Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. The Civil Engineer will plan, design, and oversee civil engineering aspects of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with local regulations and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering plans, coordinating stormwater management and infrastructure solutions, and collaborating with architects, the in-house Art Curator, and project managers to align technical designs with Ybox’s artistic and urban renewal vision. The role also involves conducting site inspections, monitoring construction progress, addressing engineering issues, and supporting permitting processes and documentation. The Civil Engineer will work closely with contractors, external consultants, and municipal authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the company’s high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, with experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Planning and Stormwater Management, including site development, drainage, and utility coordination.
• Professional experience working as a Civil Engineer on urban renewal, high-rise, or complex mixed-use developments.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure in Israel is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Israeli building codes, standards, and permitting processes, especially in the Tel Aviv District.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with relevant engineering and CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D or similar) is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, and project timelines.
