Embedded SW Engineer

A leading semiconductor company is developing advanced connectivity solutions for long-reach, high-speed video and data transmission in the professional audio-visual and automotive industries.

The company’s technology enables high-performance multimedia connectivity, including zero-latency video and audio transmission, and is integrated into a wide range of professional AV products such as switches, displays, projectors, extenders, AV receivers, and additional connectivity solutions.

This is an opportunity to join the Pro-AV team and take part in the definition, development, optimization, and productization of next-generation chipsets and embedded software for advanced semiconductor products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize embedded software for advanced semiconductor products in the Pro-AV domain.
• Take part in the definition, implementation, and productization of next-generation chipsets.
• Contribute directly to high-performance multimedia connectivity solutions, including zero-latency video and audio transmission.
• Work closely with hardware engineers and system architects to ensure optimal hardware/software integration.
• Translate system requirements into detailed software design documents and implementation plans.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and CI/CD processes.
• Write and maintain software design and implementation documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university
• 4–5 years of experience in RT Embedded software development
• Strong hands-on experience with C/C++
• Experience working with Git and/or SVN
• Strong system-level understanding and ability to work closely with hardware and system architecture teams.
• Experience with multimedia protocols such as HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, or Audio – significant advantage.
• Experience with high-speed connectivity solutions – significant advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes – advantage.
