Milk Operations Department Manager – Rehovot Dairy 🥛

We are looking for an experienced Milk Operations Department Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you will lead the filling and packaging production operations, driving efficiency and managing a high-performing team in a technological, fast-paced environment.

Direct and indirect leadership of 50 employees, including 3 middle managers and team leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production & Efficiency: Manage end-to-end filling and packaging operations, ensuring alignment with work plans, OEE, and FTR targets.
• People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 50, directly managing middle managers and team leaders.
• Operational Excellence: Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement by implementing LEAN methodologies on the production floor.
• Control & Budgeting: Oversee real-time problem solving, hold line-stop authority for quality issues, and manage the annual department budget.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. / B.A. (Engineering, Industrial Management, Business, or Logistics) – Mandatory.
• Experience: 3-5 years of production management experience in a process manufacturing plant (Food industry – a major advantage).
• Leadership: Proven experience managing managers and large teams (managing ~50 headcount) – Mandatory.
• Skills & Systems: Experience with ERP/MES systems – An advantage.
• Languages: Good English (reading, writing, speaking) – Mandatory. Russian – An advantage.
