About the Role

We're looking for an experienced privacy consultant & DPO to join our team and own client relationships end-to-end. This is a high-impact role with direct access to senior management, boards, legal, security, product and technology teams across a wide range of organizations.

The ideal candidate manages clients independently and with confidence: building annual privacy work plans, presenting to boards and management, making judgment calls, and knowing what matters and what can wait. You'll serve as DPO for clients across diverse industries and help companies turn legal and regulatory requirements into practical, real-world solutions.

What You'll Do

• Create and manage (independently and collaboratively) ongoing client relationships and DPO programs - annual work plans, board and management presentations, and hands-on compliance work.
• Advise clients on privacy compliance under Israeli law, GDPR, CCPA, and other global frameworks.
• Advise clients on AI governance: the EU AI Act and emerging AI regulation, and help organizations build and implement responsible AI frameworks.
• Draft, review, and implement privacy documentation (policies, DPAs, DPIAs, notices, procedures).
• Assess and prioritize privacy risks - separating the critical from the negligible, and communicating that clearly to clients.

What We're Looking For

• Proven, hands-on experience managing clients in privacy/data protection.
• Deep expertise in Israeli privacy law, GDPR, CCPA and other U.S. frameworks, with real field experience applying them.
• Strong technological knowledge and familiarity with information security concepts - you can hold your own in conversations with the CISO, product and R&D teams.
• Fluency and comfort using AI tools and, more importantly, a creative, innovative and responsible approach to using them.
• Risk-management mindset: the ability to distinguish the essential from the trivial and advise accordingly.
• Excellent Hebrew and English, written and spoken. We work in both languages daily.
• Experience at a leading law firm's privacy/technology practice, or in-house at a tech company - an advantage.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001) - an advantage.
• Privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, DPO course accredited by the Israeli PPA) - an advantage.
