Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join a government organization in Jerusalem. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the design and implementation of advanced cybersecurity solutions, secure cloud environments, and support critical national infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and deploy cybersecurity infrastructure and technology solutions

Design secure network architectures aligned with organizational requirements and evolving cyber threats

Evaluate, approve, and integrate security technologies and products into enterprise IT infrastructure

Develop hardening and security documentation for operating systems, databases, networks, applications, storage systems, endpoints, encryption, and related technologies

Design security monitoring, supervision, and alerting systems to support Security Operations Center (SOC) requirements

Requirements

4+ years of experience in planning, implementing, and deploying cybersecurity infrastructure and security solutions

Proven experience designing secure network architectures, implementing security products, preparing hardening documentation, designing monitoring and control systems, and supporting cyber incident response

Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments

Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture with the ability to review and approve cloud-based architectures

Familiarity with security standards including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, CSA, and SOC 2

Experience writing security policies, procedures, architecture, and security documentation

Proven experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with AWS
