We’re looking for an experienced DevOps IT Engineer to join a dynamic IT team responsible for building, automating, and operating scalable hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role combines hands-on system administration with modern DevOps practices and focuses on improving reliability, automation, security, and developer productivity.

This is a full-time hybrid engagement based in Ra'anana, Israel, with an initial 3-month project and the possibility of transitioning into a long-term part-time engagement.

What you'll be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain hybrid infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments

• Manage virtualization platforms including VMware and KVM (Proxmox)

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code

• Administer Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management

• Manage endpoint solutions such as Microsoft Intune and MobileIron/Ivanti

• Develop internal automation and tooling to improve engineering productivity

• Maintain high standards of security, reliability, and operational excellence

• Collaborate with DevOps, R&D, Security, and IT teams to support enterprise infrastructure

• Create and maintain technical documentation

We're looking for someone with experience in:

• AWS and Azure cloud platforms

• VMware, Nutanix, or KVM virtualization

• Linux administration

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a plus)

• Azure Entra ID (Azure AD), SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access

• PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages

• Enterprise MDM solutions (Microsoft Intune, MobileIron/Ivanti)

• Networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, switches, Wi-Fi)

• Backup solutions such as Veeam or Commvault

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes and Docker

• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies

• AWS/Azure, RHCE, CCNA, or MCSA certifications

• Advanced networking knowledge

• Experience supporting large-scale cloud or enterprise infrastructure

📍 Location: Hybrid, Ra'anana, Israel (full-time on-site during the first weeks, then 2–3 days per week in the office)
