Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of IT Infrastructure to take ownership of the Family Office’s IT environment and lead its ongoing development and modernization.

The role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, cloud services, endpoint devices, and security systems.

The Head of IT Infrastructure will ensure system availability, performance, security, and reliability while managing backups, disaster recovery, access controls, and business continuity solutions. The role will also define and execute the infrastructure roadmap, lead IT projects, coordinate external vendors and service providers, and identify opportunities to improve security, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously develop the organization’s IT infrastructure and architecture.
• Design and maintain networks, servers, storage, cloud environments, and endpoint infrastructure.
• Ensure system availability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Manage cybersecurity solutions, including endpoint protection, firewalls, identity and access management, encryption, and security monitoring.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Define and implement the IT infrastructure roadmap and lead modernization projects.
• Manage hardware and software lifecycles, system updates, configurations, and licenses.
• Coordinate external IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting when required.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve automation, security, scalability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a similar senior technical role.
• Strong expertise in network architecture, server administration, virtualization, and storage.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, including endpoint security, firewalls, IAM, encryption, monitoring, and access controls.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, high-availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Proven ability to manage IT operations end to end and independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience leading IT projects and managing external vendors, budgets, and timelines.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in ambiguous, fast-changing environments, managing multiple priorities and taking ownership of decisions.
• Strong communication skills, discretion, and professionalism.
• Fluent English is required; Russian is a strong advantage.
