Position Overview

• Senior Software & Systems Researcher (Backend / Internals) joining an elite, versatile engineering team to research, architect, and implement deep application-level instrumentation.
• Designing and building production-grade dynamic tracing hooks, profilers, and runtime monitoring agents running across multiple major language runtimes (primarily Java, Python, and TypeScript).
• Conducting low-level systems research and engineering—delving deep into language runtime internals, custom telemetry collectors, virtual machine execution paths, and memory managers.
• Developing custom SDKs, lightweight runtime agents, and advanced distributed tracing systems built to operate under extremely strict overhead constraints within high-throughput production environments.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Runtime Intelligence, Low-Level Systems Engineering, Dynamic Instrumentation, Observability & APM, Language Internals (JVM, V8, CPython), Profiling & Bytecode Manipulation, High-Performance SDK Design, Distributed Systems.

Requirements-

• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline – Mandatory (M.Sc. – Advantage)
• 5+ years of robust software engineering experience, with a significant portion dedicated to backend or systems development – Mandatory
• Strong, verifiable professional background coming from a top-tier Cybersecurity company or an elite military technological intelligence unit (e.g., 8200, 81, or equivalent) – Mandatory
• Proven background combining applied research with hands-on systems programming (e.g., reverse engineering, analyzing low-level system behaviors, or custom engine hacking) – Mandatory
• Advanced programming fluency in at least one (and ideally more) of the following languages: Java, Python, TypeScript/Node.js – Mandatory
• Hands-on engineering or research experience with runtime execution internals, such as Garbage Collection (GC), JIT compilers, event loops, bytecode parsing, or runtime hooks – Strong Advantage
• Prior experience designing and releasing developer-focused SDKs, agents, APM tools, or instrumentation profilers – Advantage
