Controller / Accountant (Post-Internship CPA) | Emek Hefer

A leading retail company specializing in pet food and pet supplies is looking for a CPA (Post-Internship) to join its Finance team.

📍 Location: Emek Hefer

🕘 Full-time Position

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Work closely with the accounting team and support ongoing financial operations.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory data.
• Prepare and submit tax reports (VAT, Income Tax, and other statutory filings).
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) after internship – required.
• Background from a small or mid-sized accounting firm – required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience preparing financial statements for private companies, including companies with annual revenues exceeding ₪50 million.
• Experience working closely with an accounting/bookkeeping team – required.
• Experience reporting to tax authorities (VAT, Income Tax, etc.) – required.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles – required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Previous management experience – a significant advantage.
• Experience in the retail or commercial sector – an advantage.
• Payroll experience – an advantage.
