Senior Network & Communications Engineer

A leading organization in Petah Tikva is looking for a Senior Network & Communications Engineer to join its IT team on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure and information security systems
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and troubleshoot complex network issues
• Work closely with ISP and external vendors
• Design, implement, and upgrade network and security infrastructure
• Configure and manage Firewalls, WAF, NAC, and security monitoring solutions
• Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and ensure high availability
• Collaborate with internal IT teams while supporting critical projects and on-call activities

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in networking, field communications, or Tier 2/3 network support
• Experience working with ISP providers
• Strong knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and extenders
• Experience with Metro, SDN, VPLS, and MPLS environments
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, NAT, NTP, LDAP, SMB, and related networking protocols
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, WAF, NAC, and security monitoring solutions
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Ability to analyze network and security logs
• Experience with VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP)
• Scripting and automation experience
