Role Overview

As a Process Engineer, you will be a key driver in optimizing manufacturing performance and ensuring technical excellence within our production lines. You will bridge the gap between design and high-volume manufacturing by developing robust processes, enhancing yield, optimizing throughput, reducing manufacturing costs, and solving complex technical challenges.

You will be responsible for monitoring process stability, implementing control strategies, developing and implementing process improvements, and resolving equipment and product performance issues.

Additionally, you will be in charge of creating detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation and reports.

What You Will Be Doing

• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and control process stability using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
• Design and execute experiments (DOE) to understand process behavior and drive improvements.
• Lead root-cause investigations for process deviations, yield loss, and product failures.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, and production teams to transfer new processes into manufacturing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain process control strategies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues in real time to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain detailed SOPs, technical documentation, and engineering reports.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, shifts, and optimization opportunities.
• Support global manufacturing sites, vendors, and partners (up to 30% travel).

What We Need to See

• M.Sc in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. – Ph.D advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in a process engineering role (semiconductor, chemical, or advanced manufacturing sectors preferred). - Must
• Experience in patterning technologies – Lithography, NIL, Dry Etch, Wet Etch. - Must
• Proven ability to implement and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) to maintain high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in systematic root-cause analysis tools such as 8D, MBPS, Fishbone, or 5-Why.
• Strong capability in interpreting complex datasets to identify trends, shifts, and optimization opportunities.
• High-level verbal and written English skills for documenting technical reports and communicating with international teams.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to support global sites, vendors, or partner facilities.
• Experience investigating product failures and identifying process- or material-related defects.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.

Ways to Stand Out

• Experience with JMP and the ability to automate workflows using JSL (JMP Scripting Language).
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics.
• Hands-on experience with microscopy and characterization tools (SEM, TEM, EDS, AFM).
• Track record of scaling processes from development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience conducting deep-dive investigations into product failures to identify material or process-related defects.
