Cyber Security Analyst

Company Description CyRay is a team of security experts specializing in monitoring and threat detection for Security Operation Centers (SOCs). The company’s mission is to democratize comprehensive threat detection coverage through Mobula, an autonomous platform that continually deploys detection content to SOC analytics tools and helps teams focus on real alerts. Drawing on years of hands-on experience in leading SOCs, CyRay addresses key challenges such as manual integrations, lengthy rule development, and high volumes of false positives. Mobula leverages existing SOC platforms to deliver high-level detection while reducing manual work, threat research, and security development time and costs. CyRay offers an environment where security professionals can directly impact how organizations detect and respond to threats.

Role Description This is a full-time Cyber Security Analyst role based in Raanana. The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor security events and alerts across customer environments, triage and investigate suspicious activity, and support incident response by analyzing root causes and recommending mitigation steps. The role includes working with CyRay’s AI Mobula platform to refine detection rules, reduce false positives, and ensure coverage for emerging threats. The analyst will collaborate with SOC teams and internal stakeholders to improve monitoring workflows, document findings, and contribute to continuous improvement of threat detection methodologies. Daily activities also involve staying current with threat intelligence, documenting playbooks, and helping optimize the use of customers’ existing security tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex security data and prioritize incidents.
• Hands-on experience in Network Security, including monitoring network traffic, identifying anomalies, and understanding common attack vectors.
• Strong hands-on experience using AI tools to automate workflows and improve productivity.
• Experience or coursework in Malware Analysis, including basic reverse engineering concepts and behavior-based detection.
• Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in or with SOC environments, SIEM platforms, EDR tools, or log management systems is an advantage.
• Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, or similar are beneficial.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Raanana, communicate clearly in English, collaborate in diverse teams, and manage tasks independently.
