Position Overview-
- Hardware Development Team Leader taking comprehensive technical and managerial ownership of an elite squad of 6 Hardware and Electronics Engineers.
- Directing the end-to-end hardware product lifecycle from early-stage architecture definition, requirement capturing, and multi-layer schematic design to qualification, manufacturing release, and mass production.
- Owning the hardware engineering strategy, leading critical technical Design Reviews, and making high-stakes architectural decisions optimized for low-power, small-form-factor consumer electronics.
- Overlooking global regulatory compliance, wireless certification frameworks, and type approvals across international markets.
- Partnering cross-functionally across a diverse internal matrix (Software, Mechanics, QA, NPI, and Procurement) and managing external operational relationships with global EMS and ODM manufacturing vendors.
- Managing engineering resources, hardware budgets, risk mitigation matrices, and execution timelines to continuously optimize time-to-market.
- Core Domain & Ecosystem- Multi-Disciplinary Hardware Engineering, Wireless Communication Systems, RF Design (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee), Schematic Capture & PCB Layout, Low-Power Electronics, Hardware Validation, Global Regulatory Compliance (FCC/CE), NPI & Mass Production, DFM/DFT, EMS/ODM Collaboration.
Requirements-
- Academic Background: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field – Mandatory
- 10+ years of robust professional experience leading hardware development teams within complex, multi-disciplinary product environments – Mandatory
- Extensive hands-on experience in Analog & Digital circuit design, component selection, and multi-layer PCB development – Mandatory
- Strong practical command of industry-standard schematic capture and layout design environments, specifically OrCAD and/or Altium Designer – Mandatory
- Deep, system-level understanding of low-power short-range wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee) spanning both physical layer (RF PHY) and MAC architectures – Mandatory
- Expert-level mastery of RF testing methodologies and advanced electronic laboratory instrumentation – Mandatory
- Proven track record leading international regulatory compliance and RF certifications for low-power wireless systems (including FCC, CE, TELEC, NCC, SRRC, BSMI) – Mandatory
- Verifiable experience guiding complex electronic products through a complete lifecycle from concept to high-volume Mass Production (NPI) – Mandatory
- Deep structural understanding of hardware qualification, environment stress testing, reliability validation, and test coverage methodologies (DFM, DFT, yield optimization) – Mandatory
- Superb leadership and communication skills, with extensive experience managing technical interfaces across Software, Mechanical Design, Quality Assurance, and Operations – Mandatory
