Qualification Engineer - 241522

We are hiring a Qualification Engineer!

The role combines in-depth engineering work in EMC, product safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance, along with hands-on laboratory work and close collaboration with R&D, Hardware, Mechanical, Thermal, Firmware, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Qualification programs for hardware products throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Plan and execute reliability, environmental, and stress testing.
• Define acceptance criteria, analyze test results, and lead Root Cause and Corrective Action processes.
• Lead certification activities with accredited laboratories and regulatory bodies in Israel and worldwide.
• Ensure compliance with CE, UKCA, FCC, and additional international standards.
• Lead product safety compliance according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1.
• Prepare Compliance documentation, Technical Files, Declarations of Conformity (DoC), and regulatory documentation.
• Perform Design Reviews and provide guidance to development teams on:
• EMC
• Grounding
• Shielding
• Filtering
• PCB Stack-up
• Mechanical Design
• Develop and improve laboratory capabilities and testing infrastructure.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering – Mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in Qualification, EMC, or Regulatory Compliance of hardware products.
• Experience working with complex electronic systems; experience with Networking or Telecom products is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of EMC.
• Experience working with relevant standards.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment.
• Experience working with certification laboratories and regulatory bodies.
• Excellent English skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple interfaces.

Advantages

• Experience with CE, UKCA, FCC, and additional international certifications.
• Experience with High-Speed systems (100G/400G/800G).
• Familiarity with SI/PI.
• Experience in Reliability Engineering, HALT/HASS, and Thermal Characterization.
• Familiarity with RoHS, REACH, WEEE, and LVD regulations.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for data analysis and test automation
