Information Systems Department Manager

A successful and well-established company is looking for an Information Systems Department Manager to lead its Information Systems department.

This is a key leadership role for an experienced manager who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, understands how technology drives business value, and enjoys leading people, enterprise systems and organizational change.

You will lead a multidisciplinary Information Systems team, own the organization's core business applications, drive cross-functional technology initiatives, and work closely with senior management to translate business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.

This is a full time position from Rishon LeZion, Hybrid work model (4 days on-site, 1 day from home).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Information Systems department and its professional team.
• Own the organization's core business systems, with a strong focus on SAP Business One.
• Drive enterprise-wide implementation and optimization projects.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver technology-driven solutions.
• Lead BI, reporting and data initiatives to support business decision-making.
• Manage external vendors, budgets and technology partners.
• Promote innovation and evaluate new technologies, including AI-based solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing an Information Systems department or leading enterprise applications in a managerial role.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Experience leading enterprise projects and business application implementations.
• Experience managing professional teams.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to bridge business needs with technology.
• Experience with BI platforms and reporting tools.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and business process automation - an advantage.
