The opportunity

We are looking for a hands‑on, Director of Finance to build and own the company’s financial function end‑to‑end. This role combines execution with leadership - from day‑to‑day financial operations to strategic planning and investor‑facing work.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, independent, and business‑oriented, with the ability to operate in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting, financial and legal operations across Israeli and U.S. entities, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, revenue recognition, Insurance and compliance.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee all payroll-related processes and manage external payroll providers, bookkeepers, and other finance vendors.
• Monitor budget-to-actual performance and provide variance analysis.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and ongoing cash management.
• Oversee banking relationships and treasury activities.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors to ensure seamless audits and local, state and federal compliance, including tax filings (Israel + USA).
• Own and manage the company’s cap table and ESOP plan including option grants, trustee reporting and documentation.
• Establish, maintain, and enhance internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Develop and scale finance processes, policies, and procedures to support the company’s growth and evolving business needs.
• Perform additional finance leadership responsibilities as required.
• Ensure financial discipline, controls, and compliance.
• Lead tax filings and compliance in both the US and Israel.

Qualifications

• Israeli CPA, with big 4 experience - must have.
• Proven working experience as a Director of Finance for at least 3 years at hi-tech firm with offices in USA
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Advanced degree in business / economics
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent accounting, software user and administration skills
• Great communication skills
• Strong financial and strategic thinking; ability to connect numbers to business outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluent English.
• Proven ability to operate independently and take full ownership.
