Research And Development Engineer

CereNex Medical , is an early-stage startup developing innovative devices to treat brain aneurysms, aiming to improve patient outcomes through cutting-edge technology.

We are looking for a talented R&D Engineer to join our growing team and play key role in end-to-end product development. This is a hands-on, high impact role in a fast-paced environment, offering exposure to the full product life cycle.

Job description:

-        Work closely with subcontractors and external partners on development and manufacturing of medical devices

-        Create and maintain engineering documentation including DHF, protocols, reports and risk management files

-        Plan and execute V&V activities, including test methods and analyses

-        Design and develop jigs and fixtures to support testing activities

-        Participating in pre-clinical studies including protocol planning and execution

-        Collaborate with QA and RA to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements

-        Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Requirements:

-        B.Sc. in mechanical, biomedical engineering

-        3-5 years of related experience in medical device startup

-        Experience in neurovascular minimally invasive devices – an advantage

-        Hands-on experience with lab work and prototype testing

-        Familiarity with verification and validation processes

-        Proficiency with Solidworks

-        Experience with Nitinol design and manufacturing – an advantage

-        Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
