Software Engineer Team Lead

The company develops a disruptive, high-scale enterprise software solution that enables global telecommunications and network providers to exponentially expand their network capacity while drastically reducing operational infrastructure costs.

Scaling with 500 employees worldwide including a core R&D hub of 300 professionals locally the organization offers a flexible hybrid model of 1 to 2 days of remote work per week (determined by commute distance).

The corporate headquarters is based in a central Tel Aviv tech hub (highly accessible, situated directly on the train line).

Position Overview-

• Hands-on Development Team Leader taking management ownership of a high-caliber squad of 4 engineers, balancing 50% people management and 50% hands-on engineering.
• Joining a core strategic group focused on architecting end-to-end, ultra-low latency software stacks for AI Datacenter workloads and infrastructure.
• Directing low-level, high-performance programming strictly in Rust within the user-space environment, interfacing directly with dedicated specialized hardware.
• Driving execution, mentoring technical staff, and ensuring close synchronization between hardware acceleration layers and large-scale cloud routing platforms.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Team Leadership, Hands-on Architecture, Rust Systems Programming, AI Datacenter Infrastructure, User-Space Development, High-Performance Networking, Switching Silicon, SONiC, Packet Processing.

Requirements-

• Academic Background: B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline – Mandatory
• 5+ years of software development experience in any modern object-oriented or systems programming language (such as C++, Go, Python, or Rust) – Mandatory
• Extensive, deep technical domain experience with high-performance networking architectures, fabric architectures, open-source network OS (SONiC), or switching/routing silicon lines (Silicon One, Jericho, Ramon, Tomahawk) – Mandatory
• Prior experience as a Team Leader, Tech Lead, or a strong passion and aptitude to step into a leadership role managing a core engineering team – Mandatory
• Strong foundational understanding of systems-level concepts, multi-threaded programming, and low-latency data structures – Mandatory
