Principal Engineer

We are looking for a visionary Senior Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical leader within our R&D organization. Our division combines the agility and fast-paced environment of a startup with the scale, stability, and resources of a leading global enterprise software company.

In this role, you will shape the architectural vision and drive the delivery of robust, high-scale platforms that bring AI-driven products and intelligent agents directly into our customers' workflows. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to turn complex problems into reliable, production-ready solutions, while raising the technical bar across the entire organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Technical Leadership & Governance: Act as the ultimate technical authority across the team, driving high-impact architectural decisions and setting modern engineering standards.

• System Design & Architecture: Design and evolve scalable, distributed SaaS systems with a strong focus on reliability, performance, security, and high concurrency.

• Hands-on Engineering: Stay close to the code by implementing critical components, tackling the organization's most complex technical challenges, and conducting rigorous design and code reviews.

• AI-Centric Product Development: Partner with engineers and product leaders to build products where AI is a core part of the system design and customer value, from early architecture through production.

• Cross-Team Influence & Mentorship: Collaborate across R&D to align technical solutions with product and business goals, while mentoring senior engineers and elevating engineering practices.

What You Bring

• Experience: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of impact at a Staff level or above.

• Architectural Mindset: Deep backend engineering expertise with extensive experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed cloud-native systems.

• System Resilience: Strong experience building and maintaining multi-threaded and highly concurrent systems, with a focus on long-term maintainability.

• Soft Skills: A collaborative, flexible mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, make high-impact technical decisions, and clearly communicate complex trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.

Required Tech Stack:

• Languages & Frameworks: Deep expertise in .NET. Strong experience with Node.js / TypeScript is a major advantage.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is an advantage.

• Datastores: Experience with MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

• Architecture: Microservices, cloud-native systems, and event-driven architecture.

Nice to Have:

• Experience building AI-first or AI-native products (LLMs, AI agents) in production environments.

• Experience leading platform evolution or modernizing enterprise legacy systems.

• Background in enterprise-grade, high-scale SaaS products.
