Planner (Material Planning)

Responsibilities

• Managing the material procurement process from order receipt/forecast to purchase order realization
• Customer orders/new forecasts – coordinating order deployment to the system based on customer requirements and material availability (LLI)
• Analyzing MRP results, releasing requirements and monitoring the implementation of procurement with purchasing and rescheduling open purchase orders
• Managing shortage meetings and monitoring material convergence for production
• Monitoring the maintenance of purchasing infrastructures
• Meeting inventory targets and performing controls accordingly
• Dead stock analysis / idle stock / excess stock
• Material implications according to change orders (ECO) and monitoring actual execution
• Preparing liability reports

Qualifications

• Industrial and management engineer or similar degree (economics, logistics) – required
• 1-2 years of experience as a planner in a manufacturing company – required
• Experience from a subcontracting company – an advantage

Required Skills

• Full understanding of MRP processes and production management
• Analytical thinking and report analysis
• Proficiency in OFFICE and ERP systems
• Familiarity with the Priority system - a significant advantage
• Systemic vision, good human relations and the ability to work across a variety of departments in the organization
