A defense tech company is looking for a

Senior Fullstack Developer

to join a dynamic development team working on complex systems in a private cloud environment. The role includes full ownership of the development lifecycle — from architecture design, through Front and Back development, to deployment in a production environment. The position is located in Tel Aviv, HaKirya, within an Air Force unit.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience
• Familiarity with Next.js
• Strong knowledge of relational database management — PostgreSQL
• Experience in designing and implementing complex system architectures
• Ability to read code and conduct quality Code Reviews
• Use of AI development tools — Claude Code and similar
• Backend service development — TypeScript
• Writing Dockerfiles and building Docker Images
• Working with S3 / object storage
• Working with Git and branch management following Semver conventions
• Familiarity with the military system, particularly the Air Force — an advantage
• Graduates of the Ofek unit — an advantage

Technical advantages:

• Experience working on projects with multiple simultaneously available environments (development, integration, production)
• Familiarity with message queues — RabbitMQ / Kafka
• Experience in Backend service development — Python
• Experience with FastAPI
• Experience with Express
• Experience with OpenShift (configuration, troubleshooting)
• Familiarity with the MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Experience with permission management systems (RBAC, ABAC, etc.)
• Experience with data synchronization and connectivity systems between data repositories
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Matomo
• Familiarity with neverthrow (functional error handling in TypeScript)
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes (particularly Woodpecker/ArgoCD)
