Job Description:

Effectiv, part of the Harel Investments Group, is seeking a Controller to join its finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 1–3 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller who is looking to take on a role combining broad accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, business insight, and a strong understanding of the economic impact behind financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements and periodic reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial data and evaluate business performance to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance while identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
• Work closely with external auditors, accounting advisors, and cross-functional internal stakeholders.
• Participate in financial projects and drive initiatives related to financial controls, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Provide ongoing financial and accounting support to senior management.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license – required.
• 1–3 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Controller – required.
• Proven experience preparing financial statements, performing financial controls, and analyzing financial data – required.
• Strong accounting expertise combined with solid business acumen and financial understanding.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial information systems.
• Experience using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency – an advantage.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
