CommunityOS is an AI-native community intelligence and activation platform. We help brands, agencies, Web3 projects, and creators understand who actually matters in their audience — separating real advocates from bots and reward farmers — then activate them with missions, verify proof of action, distribute rewards, and prove community ROI. The platform is live in production with a working scan engine, campaign and rewards system, and CRM, and we're heading into our first client deployments and seed fundraising.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Head of Development to own the platform end to end. This is not a people-management-only role, you'll be in the code daily, hardening what exists, shipping what's next, and setting the technical standards as we grow. For the right person, this role has a clear growth path as the company scales.

What you'll own

• The full stack: Python/FastAPI backend, React + TypeScript frontend, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, deployed on cloud infrastructure
• Reliability of our core scan engine: background job architecture, resume logic, progress tracking, and API integrations with social platforms
• AI/NLP pipeline for audience classification and scoring
• New platform integrations and client-facing reporting
• Deployment, CI/CD, and infrastructure decisions — bringing order and a single source of truth
• Technical scoping with the founders: what to build, what to cut, what to stabilize before shipping new features

What we're looking for

• 5+ years building and shipping production web applications, with at least some of that in a lead or senior ownership role.
• Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI or similar); comfortable across the stack in React/TypeScript.
• Real-world experience with background job systems, external API integrations at scale, and PostgreSQL
• Comfort with DevOps: Docker, Linux servers, nginx, cloud deployment
• Startup DNA — you prioritize ruthlessly, ship pragmatically, and can tell founders "no" with a better alternative
• Interest or experience in AI/LLM-powered products is a strong plus; Web3/community ecosystem familiarity is a plus
• Fluent English; Hebrew is a plus
