Big Data Engineer

Description:

As a Big Data Engineer, you'll design, build, and scale the data infrastructure behind our platform. You'll work on distributed systems, real-time streaming pipelines, and production services that handle data at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build high-throughput, low-latency streaming pipelines
• Design and scale distributed data systems
• Own services end-to-end (development, deployment, operations)
• Partner with AI and backend teams on real-time data solutions
• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability
• Troubleshoot and improve production systems
  
  

• 3-6 years of backend or data engineering experience
• Strong Java skills (Spring, Vert.x, or similar)
• Kafka and stream-processing expertise (Flink, Spark, Beam, Kafka Streams)
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of performance tuning and observability
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and ClickHouse
• Ownership mindset and strong engineering fundamentals

• Fintech Background
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI development tools
