Legal Counsel

A discreet Single Family Office with global reach is seeking a highly capable Legal Counsel to support its expanding international platform.

The Family Office is active across private equity, infrastructure, cross-border investments, strategic projects and complex international operations. The role requires a lawyer who is commercially minded, highly discreet, execution-oriented and comfortable working close to senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support legal work across private equity transactions, infrastructure projects, strategic investments and international commercial activities.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, investment documentation, service agreements, NDAs, engagement letters and corporate documents.
• Work closely with external counsel in Israel and abroad.
• Support corporate governance, approval processes, internal policies and documentation standards.
• Assist with legal, regulatory, compliance, sanctions and cross-border structuring questions.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and provide practical, business-oriented recommendations.
• Coordinate legal work across multiple jurisdictions, counterparties, advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the development of a professional legal function within a newly structured family office environment.

Candidate Profile

• Israeli-qualified lawyer, preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong background in commercial law, corporate law, transactions or cross-border legal work.
• Experience with private equity, investments, infrastructure, international projects, family offices, sanctions or compliance, an advantage.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Ability to manage complex matters independently and with strong attention to detail.
• Commercial judgment, discretion and maturity.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-trust environment.
• Able to move between legal analysis, business priorities and practical execution.

The Role

This is not a traditional in-house legal position. It is a senior, high-exposure role within a discreet investment and operating platform, working close to capital, strategy, governance and execution.

The position is based in Israel and involves significant international exposure.
