Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for a System Administrator to join a leading defense organization in Central Israel. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly skilled IT team, delivering infrastructure solutions for complex projects while working with customers, engineers, and technical leaders in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support IT infrastructure solutions for enterprise projects

Deploy, upgrade, and integrate systems and technologies based on project requirements

Administer and operate information security systems

Monitor, maintain, upgrade, and support local and remote system environments

Build, implement, and manage isolated, virtual, and physical environments based on VMware and Microsoft technologies

Provide high-quality technical support and infrastructure services aligned with customer requirements

Requirements

At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience as an IT/System Administrator

Strong experience with Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, DHCP, GPO, and DNS

Experience with Windows Server and Windows operating systems

Hands-on experience supporting laptops, workstations, tablets, and end-user devices

Experience writing PowerShell and Bash scripts

Strong experience installing, operating, and maintaining VMware vSphere 7 or later environments

Experience working with Hyper-V virtual environments

Familiarity with Dell, HPE, and Supermicro server hardware, as well as workstations and endpoint devices
