DevOps Specialist

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a large financial organization. You will play a central role in our Data + AI infrastructure, bridging the gap between Data Engineering, DevOps, and Platform Engineering. You will be responsible for building and implementing the organization's OpenMetadata platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of OpenMetadata across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Develop automation for Data Quality, Metadata management, and Data Lineage processes.
• Integrate Data Pipelines, DWH, and Data Lakes.
• Work with Python, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Handle ongoing system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system hardening.
• Collaborate with Data teams to provide architecture solutions and ensure data security for internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps / Platform Engineer / Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in API integration and systems interconnection.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Deep understanding of Data architecture (DWH, Data Lakes, Ingestion Pipelines).
