Data Team Lead

abra Microsoft division is seeking a Data Team Lead

We're looking for an experienced Data Team Lead who combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise and a hands-on approach.

We're looking for someone who enjoys mentoring engineers, making technical decisions, and staying involved in development and solution design.

What you'll do:

• Lead and mentor a team of approximately 10 Data Engineers and BI professionals.

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and hands-on guidance.

• Stay involved in SQL development, data modeling, solution design, and project delivery.

• Drive end-to-end data initiatives while working closely with customers and business stakeholders.

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven experience leading Data Engineering or BI teams.

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and modern Data Warehouse platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.

• Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and enterprise data platforms.

• Python experience – an advantage.

• A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
