Field Application Engineer

A growing technology startup is looking for a Field Application Engineer for a hands-on role involving installations, deployments, and technical support of hardware and software systems at customer sites.

The role includes work in warehouse, logistics, and industrial environments, including physical installations on forklifts and operational vehicles, electrical connections, cameras, edge products, communication equipment, and network infrastructure.

The position is based in Haifa and includes travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and validate systems at customer sites.
• Work in Linux environments, with cameras, cables, switches, and communication equipment.
• Perform physical installations on forklifts, including wiring and electrical connections.
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and hardware issues.
• Support system deployment, customer training, and on-site implementation.
• Work closely with customers and internal Product, R&D, and Operations teams.
• Travel across Israel and abroad as needed.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in implementation, field engineering, technical support, or system administration.
• Strong Linux experience — mandatory.
• Experience working with electrical systems and assemblies — mandatory.
• Familiarity with forklifts and logistics environments — advantage.
• Experience working around operational vehicles, forklifts, armored vehicles, or heavy vehicles
• Basic networking knowledge: IP, switches, cabling.
• Very high level of English — mandatory.
• Mobility with a car and willingness to travel — mandatory.
• Strong technical sense, high service orientation, independence, and willingness to learn.
