Renewable Energy Projects & Operations Manager

A leading income-producing real estate company is looking for a Renewable Energy Projects & Operations Manager to join a growing and strategic energy activity.

This is a central and highly impactful role, combining project management, ongoing operations, technical coordination, data analysis and field work, with a strong focus on PV systems and energy storage projects.

The role includes full ownership of renewable energy projects and systems, from initial scoping, planning and pricing through execution, grid connection, handover and ongoing performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage renewable energy projects, mainly PV and energy storage, from early-stage planning through execution and delivery.
• Oversee the ongoing operation and performance monitoring of existing PV systems, including production data analysis, identifying deviations, investigating issues and coordinating corrective actions.
• Promote new PV installations and expansion of existing systems, including the integration of energy storage solutions.
• Work closely with the Israel Electric Corporation, planners, consultants, suppliers, contractors, property managers and statutory authorities.
• Manage supplier proposals, pricing, project budgets, timelines, documentation, permits, approvals, invoices and operational follow-up.
• Coordinate technical, commercial and operational interfaces across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Combine hands-on field involvement with structured office-based work, reporting, tracking and data analysis.

Requirements:

• Engineering or strong technical background - must. Relevant backgrounds may include Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Civil, Electronics or similar disciplines.
• Experience managing complex technical projects - must.
• Experience working with suppliers, consultants, planners and contractors - must.
• Strong Excel skills and high ability to work with data, budgets, pricing, tracking tools and project timelines - must.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to manage technical professionals without necessarily performing the design work independently.
• High level of independence, ownership, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong self-learning abilities, structured work habits and ability to manage multiple interfaces.
• Willingness to combine office-based work with field visits.

Significant Advantage:

• Experience in solar energy, PV systems, energy storage or electrical systems.
• Experience working with the Israel Electric Corporation.
• Experience from renewable energy developers, EPC companies or energy contractors.
• Familiarity with income-producing real estate, commercial properties, rooftops, parking areas and infrastructure systems.

This is a full-time position, combining headquarters and field work.
