Production Manager

Role Description The Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Karmiel, responsible for overseeing daily production operations within Nistec’s manufacturing facility. This role includes planning and coordinating production schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality electronic products. The Production Manager monitors performance metrics, implements continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks involve close collaboration with engineering, quality assurance, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve issues, optimize processes, and support customer requirements. The role also includes leading and developing production staff, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Qualifications

• Experience in production management or operations leadership within electronics manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and familiarity with modern manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, production drawings, and work instructions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team supervision, coaching, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Solid understanding of quality control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to electronic manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using production data and KPIs to drive decisions.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and, when needed, customers.
• Comfort with ERP/MRP systems and other production management tools; proficiency with standard office software.
• Relevant academic background, such as an engineering, industrial management, or operations-related degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Karmiel and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
