Electro-Optics Team Lead

e are looking for an experienced Electro-Optics Team Lead to join our R&D organization and lead the development of advanced electro-optical technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Electro-Optics Engineers.
• Define, evaluate, select, and integrate critical electro-optical components, including lasers, thermal imaging devices, detectors, displays, optics, and related technologies.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the optical design lifecycle, from concept through verification and validation.
• Drive technology research and evaluation for future products.
• Lead component testing, characterization, and system integration.
• Manage technical relationships with international suppliers and support co-development activities.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams, including Mechanical, Electronics, Software, and Systems Engineering.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electro-Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing electro-optical systems or components.
• Previous engineering team leadership experience – strong advantage.
• Deep expertise in one or more of the following: Lasers, Thermal Imaging, Day/Night Optics, Displays, or Electro-Optical Systems.
• Experience working with international suppliers.
• 2+ years of experience supporting optical design with subcontractors.
• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English.
