Data Engineer

The offices are located in the Central region (immediately adjacent to a major train transit artery), operating under a hybrid model offering 2 days of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Senior Data Engineer joining the global GenAI Innovation department to design, architect, and scale the foundational data infrastructures and high-throughput pipelines powering next-generation LLM systems.
• Partnering deeply with AI and Research squads to drive advanced data preparation, feature engineering, and modeling for generative AI deployments.
• Building and optimizing robust retrieval mechanisms and data flows to support production-grade RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) ecosystems.
• Engineering low-latency, large-scale processing engines across multi-cloud environments to handle highly heterogeneous, complex data sets.
• Core Domain & Ecosystem- Data Engineering, Python, Big Data Architecture (Spark, Hadoop), RAG Pipelines, GenAI & LLM Data Prep, SQL, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), and Distributed Systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating strictly as a Data Engineer – Mandatory
• 3+ years of experience utilizing Python for complex data pipelines – Mandatory
• Practical professional experience building and deploying RAG frameworks – Mandatory
• Extensive production experience with Big Data tools (Spark or Hadoop) – Mandatory
• Proven background building scalable data infrastructure from scratch – Mandatory
• Practical familiarity with AI model training lifecycles and ML data prep – Mandatory
• Experience working across modern Cloud environments – Mandatory
• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Engineering from a leading university OR direct transition from elite IDF technological units (with a completed degree) – Mandatory
