The Role

We’re looking for a talented Cloud Security Researcher to join our team in Israel. This is a highly technical, hands-on research role at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security architecture, and product development.

You will own research end-to-end — from deep diving into cloud systems and identifying real-world attack vectors, to translating your findings into product capabilities that protect organizations at scale. You’ll work closely with Research, Engineering, and Product teams, and occasionally collaborate with customers through our Solution Engineering team.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-depth cloud security research focused on IAM risks, misconfigurations, and cloud-native attack vectors
• Investigate real-world attack paths and security gaps across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
• Design and prototype preventative security mechanisms, controls, and guardrails
• Translate research insights directly into product features, detection policies, and security capabilities
• Analyze complex cloud architectures and identify scalable, high-impact security improvements
• Collaborate with Solution Engineering and occasionally engage with customers to validate findings
• Take full ownership of research tasks from exploration through delivery
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help raise the bar for cloud security best practices

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years of experience in cloud security, security research, or cybersecurity roles
• Strong background in Application Security, Network Security, Web Security, or IAM/Permissions
• Hands-on experience identifying and researching cloud security risks, not just reading reports
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Experience or strong interest in cloud governance and preventative security approaches
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams
• Clear communication skills, you can explain complex technical findings to both engineers and stakeholders
