A well-established, highly profitable global MarTech and iGaming company (operating successfully since 2003) is looking for a strong, tech-savvy Hands-on R&D Manager to lead its development branch in Israel.

The company manages over a dozen international brands (primarily in the online casino and bingo sectors) across major markets including the UK, Spain, and Canada, backing them with multi-million dollar monthly marketing budgets. We are a global team of 58 employees (with offices in Spain, Canada, and Manila), including a tight-knit, smart core team of 12 here in Israel.

About the Role:

As our R&D Manager, you will lead a small, efficient development team (one developer in Israel and one in Manila), collaborate closely with an external DBA, and initially report directly to the HR/Operations Lead (transitioning to report to the VP of Technology following upcoming organizational shifts).

This is a 100% Hands-on Full-Stack role designed for a developer at heart—someone who loves architecture, complex systems, and clean code, and wants to lead without ever leaving the keyboard. We are looking for a true partner who is ready to get their hands dirty, enjoys a flat and collaborative environment where "everyone does a bit of everything," and is excited about driving a compact, high-impact team.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end (Full Stack) development of our core internal systems: payment management, user management, campaign purchasing, risk management, and our customized CMS (Strapi).
• Technical leadership, mentorship, and direct management of a small, hybrid development team (local and remote).
• Frontend development and optimization of the company’s brand websites.
• Utilizing Google tools to accurately and effectively measure, track, and analyze website performance based on data.
• Staying highly involved in database processes, providing support and collaboration with our external DBA.

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: Around 10 years of experience in software development – a must.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading a small development team or serving as a significant Tech Lead / Team Lead.
• Backend Expertise: Deep knowledge and strong experience with .NET – a must.
• Frontend Expertise: Rich, proven experience with React – a must.
• Mindset & Personality: Excellent communication skills, open-minded, approachable, and mentally flexible. Someone who thrives in a close-knit environment, collaborates effortlessly, and is content leading an agile team without the immediate need for team scaling.
