Cyber Security Technical Lead

Our cyber team at Zukman’s is looking for a Cyber Security Technical Lead with 5+ years of hands-on experience to design, deploy, and lead security architecture for our enterprise clients. If you have a deep working knowledge of security technologies, excellent executive-level communication ,and a passion for mentoring and guiding technical talent, this is for you.

As a Cyber Security Technical Lead, you'll work on meaningful security challenges across a variety of client environments - from architecture and deployment to incident response and compliance. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Serve as a technical mentor and focal point for the professional team, providing hands-on guidance, support, and fostering engineering excellence.

• Design security architecture for enterprise clients and lead it from whiteboard to production.

• Deploy and maintain best-in-class security solutions: NGFW, WAF, SIEM, IPS/IDS, EDR, DLP.

• Investigate and respond to real security incidents—not simulated ones.

• Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance reviews across client environments.

• Define security policies and technical controls that actually get implemented.

• Lead POC processes, evaluate solutions, and advise clients on Zero Trust, Segmentation, and Identity Security.

• Respond to tenders and RFPs with senior-level technical depth.

• Be the most trusted technical voice in the room for us and for our clients.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven, hands-on cyber security experience not just oversight

Deep, working knowledge of security technologies: NGFW, WAF, SIEM, IPS/IDS, EDR, VPN.

Experience in SOC operations or Incident Response you've handled real events under pressure.

Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, Routing working-level, not necessarily deep infrastructure background.

Familiarity with Identity: Active Directory, LDAP, MFA, PAM

Basic understanding of Cloud Security (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Strong analytical ability able to connect logs, alerts, and traffic into a coherent picture.

Ability to write clear architecture documents, policies, and technical reports in English (Hebrew a plus).

Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to lead technical conversations at the executive level.

Significant Advantage:

Hands-on experience with: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Trend Micro, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Proofpoint, Forescout, ClearPass.

Familiarity with: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.

Experience with Penetration Testing or Vulnerability Assessments.

Familiarity with SOAR / SIEM tuning and use case design.

Experience in OT / ICS environments.

Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, NSE4+, Security+, eJPT (any one).
