Data Architect

Calanit is seeking a Data Lake Architect who can bridge the gap between business strategy and technological solutions!

The ideal candidate will be able to understand end-to-end business processes, lead cross-organizational initiatives, and translate complex business requirements into advanced Data solutions.

Strong experience in SAP DataSphere, SAP BW, Data Lake, Data Architecture, and Business Intelligence is essential for success in this role.

Profile Requirements

• Strong system-level thinking with the ability to understand end-to-end business processes
• Proven experience in SAP BW/BW4HANA, DataSphere, Data Lake, and Business Intelligence
• Deep understanding of data architecture and system integration processes
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, etc.)
• Ability to translate business requirements into Data & Analytics solutions
• Experience leading enterprise-wide Data initiatives
• Experience managing and leading professional teams and external vendors
• Strong stakeholder management skills in a multi-interface environment
• Analytical thinking combined with strategic vision
• High level of ownership, initiative, and ability to drive processes forward
• Experience working with senior management and business stakeholders

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with large-scale data environments and cloud platforms.
• Extensive experience with SAP BW/BW4HANA
• Hands-on experience with SAP DataSphere or strong familiarity with modern SAP Data architecture
• Experience working with Data Lake solutions in large organizations
• Proven experience leading complex Data / BI / Analytics projects
• Strong understanding of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Data Integration
• Experience defining business rules and business models
• Experience working directly with executives and senior stakeholders
• Experience leading teams and vendors
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in a global organization

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Relevant cloud or data certifications.
