Mertens Malam Team is hiring an Application Security Architect for a financial organization in Central Israel

An excellent opportunity to lead application security architecture across systems, applications, APIs, cloud, and on-prem environments

Key Responsibilities

Lead information security requirements for system, application, and API development

Provide professional guidance to Development, DevOps, and IT teams

Perform risk assessments and define advanced security mechanisms

Work with Application Security, Cloud Security, AWS, Azure, OWASP Top 10, and Secure SDLC

Design secure architectures for on-prem and cloud environments

Write high-level architecture and design documents

Work closely with Information Security, Risk Management, Regulation, and Audit teams

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in information security with a strong focus on Application Security

Hands-on experience securing AWS and/or Azure cloud environments

In-depth knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and Secure SDLC

Experience writing high-level architecture documents and design documents

Knowledge and experience with security protocols, encryption technologies, access management, and identity management
