Mertens MalamTeam is hiring a Digital Department Manager for a leading organization in Tel Aviv

A senior leadership role managing a central digital delivery unit with responsibility for approximately 70 employees and managers across development, analysis, QA, project management, and maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Lead digital delivery across websites, apps, digital services, and business supporting systems

Manage managers, professional groups, resources, dependencies, and delivery goals

Lead complex cross organizational work plans from initiation to production, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement

Ensure quality, stability, availability, information security, user experience, and service levels

Work with business stakeholders, management, product, data, infrastructure, security, architecture, integration, and vendors

Lead AI adoption across the development lifecycle, including analysis, development, code review, testing, documentation, maintenance, and monitoring

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology or engineering field

Significant experience managing a development department, delivery unit, or large information systems unit

Proven experience managing managers and multiple development or technology groups

Experience leading large scale Web and Mobile digital systems

Experience managing significant high traffic digital products and projects

Experience managing complex work plans, resource prioritization, dependencies, and delivery goals
