Process Engineer

The role of the Chemical Process Engineer is centered around three core responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues within the production facility (e.g., raw material quality issues, process deviations, and operational challenges).
• Optimizing and improving existing production processes, including the enhancement of mechanical equipment performance, process efficiency, and operational reliability.
• Developing and implementing new chemical processes, a responsibility that requires strong proficiency and hands-on experience in both troubleshooting and process optimization.
  
  

• Investigate and resolve process-related issues in manufacturing facilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process performance, raw material utilization, productivity, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret process data to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support production teams in solving complex process and operational challenges.
• Implement new technologies and process improvements within manufacturing facilities.
• Develop process documentation, operating procedures, and technical reports as required.
• Create software instructions and perform process simulations to evaluate and optimize production performance.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure efficient process operation and successful project execution.
• Participate in the scale-up, validation, and implementation of new chemical processes.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Experience working with engineering equipment and manufacturing processes in the chemical industry.
• 2–3 years of experience in the chemical industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, innovative, and highly motivated individual with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to learn independently, adapt quickly, and drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong technical and engineering understanding.
• Full professional proficiency in both Hebrew and English.
