ILS Engineer

A defense company in central Israel is looking for an ILS Engineer to join its team.

The role includes managing and leading ILS activities across various company projects, including matrix management within and outside project teams, and full responsibility for the implementation of ILS work packages.

Responsibilities include:

Managing and leading ILS deliverables in company projects

Full responsibility for the execution of ILS activities within the project

Defining and writing technical specifications, design documents, test documents, and engineering logistics analyses

Handling work packages related to system maintainability and testability

Reviewing technical documentation

Managing and leading courses and delivering training to Level A maintenance teams

Participating in and providing technical support for tenders and proposals, including maintenance contracts

Managing internal and external subcontractors for the definition, development, production, integration, testing, and delivery of various support and test equipment for different maintenance levels

Providing engineering support for customer service activities

Requirements:

Electronics Engineer, graduate of a technological bachelor’s degree, or Electronics Practical Engineer with proven background and at least 3 years of experience in the maintenance field – mandatory

Experience as an ILS Engineer or project management experience in the field of Logistics – mandatory

Background in technical maintenance units during IDF service – advantage

Experience working with Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP systems – advantage

Proven ability to work independently in a challenging environment, work in a matrix organization, and make decisions – mandatory

Hebrew and English at a good level, including proven ability to write, read, speak, and present to internal and external customers – mandatory

Ability to operate, monitor, and manage subcontractors, with strong order and organizational skills – mandatory

Experience in project management, including work plans, budget management, subcontractor and supplier management – advantage
