Professional Lead – Investment Applications & Financial Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage investment and trading platforms with a strong hands-on approach, actively participating in execution when needed
• Drive projects and initiatives from requirements through production deployment, ensuring timely delivery and business alignment
• Troubleshoot complex technical and operational issues, removing blockers and leading resolution efforts
• Own and enhance the organization's DWH and data platforms, with deep understanding of data models and business processes
• Lead API-based integrations between internal and external systems
• Support and maintain critical front-office trading systems and investment workflows
• Manage development and maintenance activities with third-party vendors, including technical oversight and delivery management
• Lead production incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Establish and improve monitoring, control, and operational processes to ensure system stability and availability
• Analyze business processes and drive automation and continuous improvement initiative
• Produce high-quality technical and functional documentation, including requirements, specifications, architecture, and operational procedures
• Manage priorities, budgets, and resource allocation while balancing business and technology needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Systems Analysis and/or Software Development
• Experience leading end-to-end initiatives, from requirements gathering through production delivery
• Strong experience working with cross-functional internal teams and external software vendors
• Experience designing and writing professional documentation, including functional specifications, solution designs, and application architecture documents
• Strong business and technical understanding of financial or banking systems (investment management and capital markets experience is a significant advantage)
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Experience with DWH, Data Platforms, APIs, and system integrations
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments, including incident investigation and resolution
• Experience implementing monitoring, operational controls, and preventive maintenance processes
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets
• Ability to lead technology solutions across complex enterprise environments
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
