What you'll do

As a Software Engineer, you will be working in a dynamic and Agile engineering team based in Givat Shmuel in Israel. You will actively participate in the architectural design, software development, and ongoing maintenance of our platform services responsible for digital signature engines. This position will demand critical thinking skills and the ability to work in agile environments. The ability to take smart and educated risks is essential to the success of this position. This role requires close collaboration with Product, TechOps, Compliance, and Customer Support teams. This position requires great teamwork skills to help your colleagues perform better in their jobs. You will collaborate with remote teams in a multicultural environment across different geographies. You may be required to participate in and/or present on technical subjects at internal events. This position has no management responsibilities and requires an on-call rotation. This role in particular will be at the forefront of our global expansion efforts as the team is focused on helping Docusign open in new markets!

This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Senior Manager of Engineering.

Responsibility

• Architect and design components
• Solve problems at scale and build fault-tolerant systems
• Develop high-quality, ship-ready code that is covered by a full test suite
• Enhance quality by identifying new test cases and devising efficient, scalable testing processes
• Ensure design and architecture are extensible across multiple projects and conduct technical design reviews
• Share and adopt the best performance and availability practices for one or more functional areas
• Design and develop user interfaces and core functionalities to allow internal and third-party developers to integrate applications with Docusign more easily
• Work with Product Management, Designer, UX Research, and other developers to understand and convert marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development
• Stay updated with the latest development trends and share your findings with the team
• Work as part of a cross-country development team to drive design, implementation, testing, and release of products
  
  

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent
• 5+ years of development experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent position
• Experience with full-stack development, preferably in .NET/C#
• Experience with application telemetry, monitoring/observability practices
• Experience with the entire software development lifecycle, continuous integration, testing, and code releases
• Fluent English
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in highly secured distributed systems
• Experience in the design and operation of large-scale cloud services
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and building and deploying microservices
• Experience in authentication and authorization schemas (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect)
• Experience in Front End Development using React
• Agile and test-driven development methodologies
• Record of experience shipping successful products
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, prioritize your work, and manage your time
• Passion for learning new software technologies and for sharing knowledge
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a can-do approach
