Sales Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Hod HaSharon. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with customers to understand technical and commercial requirements, propose suitable solutions, and support the sales process from initial contact through post-sale follow-up. Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering technical presentations, responding to requests for proposals, and coordinating with internal teams such as product management, engineering, and logistics to ensure accurate quotations and timely delivery. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Wesco Anixter’s product portfolio, monitoring market trends, and providing feedback to improve offerings and customer experience. The Sales Engineer will build long-term customer relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and contribute to achieving regional sales targets.
Qualifications

• Technical expertise: Strong understanding of electrical, networking, or industrial products and solutions; ability to translate technical specifications into customer value propositions.
• Sales and customer engagement: Experience in technical sales, account management, or customer-facing engineering; skilled in consultative selling and relationship building.
• Communication and presentation: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical and problem-solving: Capability to analyze customer needs, design appropriate solutions, and resolve technical or commercial issues effectively.
• Collaboration and organization: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations; strong time management and organizational skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical, industrial, telecommunications, or related field) or equivalent technical background preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in a sales engineering or similar technical-commercial role, ideally within distribution, logistics, or industrial solutions sectors.
• Additional qualifications: Proficiency in standard business software (e.g., CRM systems, MS Office), strong attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in Hod HaSharon.
