Assistant Financial Controller

We're Hiring: Assistant Controller | Emek Hefer, Israel | Full-Time | On-Site

We're looking for an Assistant Controller to join a leading company in Emek Hefer.

Salary: ILS 17,000–22,000 (depending on experience)

📍 Location: Emek Hefer

🏢 Work Model: Full-time, on-site at the company's headquarters (no hybrid or remote option)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Work closely with the Accounting team.
• Monitor and control inventory data.
• Prepare and submit tax reports (VAT, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings).
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.

Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) after internship/articleship – experience from a small or mid-sized CPA firm is required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience preparing financial statements for private companies, including companies with annual revenue exceeding ILS 50 million.
• Experience working with accounting teams – required.
• Experience with tax reporting (VAT, Income Tax, etc.) – required.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles – required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Previous management experience – a significant advantage.
• Experience in the retail or trading sector – an advantage.
• Payroll experience – an advantage.
